The drum deheaders swiftly remove a steel drum's head. It's effortless to operate and resembles a standard can opener. To use the deheader ratchet, only use an electric drill or an inch manual ratchet wrench. Don't operate the deheader ratchet with a pneumatic or electric impact wrench.
However, these are made to open steel barrels that are 55 and 30 gallons in size. Additionally, drum deheaders can rapidly and easily open steel drums of any size and gauge, enabling drum recycling without the danger of fire from torch-cutting. Likewise, deheaders with sharp, interchangeable blades made of hardened steel and comfortable handles are available.
